Juraj Horniak, photographer, illustrator and designer born in Slovakia, worked as art director in advertising agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather in Australia and New York, before setting up his own design and branding companies, Horniak and Canny, which became the largest of its kind in Australia, and later 3C Creative Agency.

Forever restless, he has combined this activity with artistic and creative projects, as well as social work in Africa and Asia.

Juraj has been living in Seville for the last four years, where he has produced and directed several short documentaries about the Mediterranean ( and a feature film, “Manufacturers of Dreams", telling the story of the social and cultural transformation of the Southern Italy. This last work has won the Best Film prize in Washington DC, Los Angeles, Toronto and Venezuela, and has received awards in Barcelona, Siracusa (Sicily), Lausanne and Turin, as well as being a finalist in 23 other festivals.

Since April 2017, Juraj has been working on his latest project, EL DUENDE DESNUDO, an exhibition of portraits of flamenco artists that forms part of the XX Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla.
